The kit tests for cobalt in any metal. Testing of jewelry, watches, necklaces, rings, buttons, eye glasses, silverware and belt buckles can be done within 30 seconds.
One kit is sufficient for 100+ tests.
The cobalt spot test kit detects cobalt down to the ppm (parts per million) level. The sensitivity threshold of most cobalt allergy's is above 10ppm.
Directions for use
1. Take the cobalt reveal solution and add a few drops to a cotton bud.
2. Rub the cotton bud onto the test item for around 1 min.
3.. A positive test for cobalt will result in a colour change from yellow to orange appearing on the cotton bud.
Packaging
The cobalt spot test solution will be packaged in a 1 x 10ml dropper HDPE bottles and sent in a strong jiffy bag.
