I am an industrial chemist by trade and I have formulated the highest grade of stump remover.
The formulation speeds up the natural bacterial decomposition process by balancing the ratio of carbon/nitrogen which increases activity from bacteria.
No digging or chopping required. The treatment is for one average size stump.
Directions for use:
Initially drill holes in the stump. Using a 12 inch drill bit, drill 1 inch holes around the perimeter of the stump about 12 in. deep and 3 to 4 in. back from the edge. Drill further holes 3 to 4 inches down from the rim at a 45-degree angle to connect with the other holes. They'll provide vent holes for burning or help the rotting process.
Take the stump remover product and pour the white powder into the holes directly from the resealable bag provided (about 30-50g per hole). Then using a watering can pour water into the holes slowly, making sure you do not overfill the holes. The rotting process takes 4-6 weeks depending on environmental conditions and the size of your stump. Refill the holes periodically with water to maintain a damp environment so the bacteria can thrive to eat away the tree stump.
After this time the tree stump with be soft and spongy, making for easy removal with a pickaxe.
