This listing is for 5 x 2g of high purity potassium permanganate (KMnO4) dispatched in a handy snap lid vial for quick and easy use.
Each snap vial holds 2g of potassium permanganate perfect for a survival/bushcraft kit.
I am an industrial chemistby trade and have formulated finely divided potassium permanganate perfect for bushcraft use. Potassium Permanganate has a range of uses some of which are;
- Addition to an alcohol based product will immediately initiate an exothermic (hot) reaction which will start a hot fire even in wet conditions.
Suitable alcohol based products are glycerol and anti-freeze.
- Medical uses - addition towater and application to a wound or cut for disinfection.
- Water purification
I also sell glycerol 'snap vials' which are perfect to use with the potassium permanganate 'snap vials'.

Snap vial – 4cm long x 1cm wide – containing 2g of potassium permanganate
Packaging
Each vial has a snap open/close top for easy use and reseal. The five (5) vials will be in a resealable heavy duty plastic bag and sent in a jiffy bag.
