Details
This listing is for 5g of pure grade hyaluronic acid powder. I am an industrial formulation chemist by trade and have sourced the highest quality hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronica cid or HA for short is an naturally occurring organic compound in the body. It is an anionic, nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan and is distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial, and neural tissues. HA has the unique capacity to hold over 1000 times itβs own weight in water. This uniqueaction makes the skin smoother and softer and hence more youthful in appearance when applied as an active ingredient in a topical skin cream. HA is used as an active ingredient in many cream formulations due to this unique property. It is also used in:
moisturizers, creams, lotions, serums, foundations, primers, masques, lipsticks, blush and even injectable fillers.
Anti-aging effect β According to reports, Hyaluronic Acid is one of the main reasons behind the aging of the skin. As you age, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid found in the body begins to reduce. This leads to things such as fine lines and wrinkles. Therefore, by adding Hyaluronic Acid to the skin in the way to topical creams can help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and allow your skin to look supple and young.
Directions for use
To make a serum β Usually a 1% solution is made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in water. Take 1g of hyaluronic acid in 100ml of water (or change the amount to make a smaller amount of serum). Stir well with a wooden spoon. A thick gel will start to form. Donβt worry if a few βlumpsβappear at this stage. Put in the fridge and leave overnight. After this time all lumps will be removed leaving a thick, clear gel. The serum is then ready for use. Store the serum in the fridge and use within 3-4 weeks as hyaluronic acid when a gel has formed does slowly deteriorate at room temperature. Therefore, it is best to make up small regular portions when you require.
To make a cream β Usually a 1% cream is made of hyaluronic acid (HA) to your chosen cream. Take 1g of hyaluronic acid (HA) and 100ml of your chosen cream base, stir well with a wooden spatula until evenly mixed. Store the cream in the fridge when not in use. Use within 3-4 weeks as hyaluronic acid does slowly deteriorate. Therefore, it is best to make up small regular portions when you require.
Packaging
The 5g of hyaluronic acid (HA) will be packaged in a double resealable bag for easy use and sent in a strong jiffy bag. Store the hyaluronic acid in the fridge when not in use. Use within 6 months of purchase.
